RC Sproul now a YEC
RC Sproul is a well-known evangelical scholar, an author of some 60 books and numerous other resources that have been greatly beneficial to Christians. He says:
‘For most of my teaching career, I considered the framework hypothesis to be a possibility. But I have now changed my mind. 
I now hold to a literal six-day creation … . Genesis says that God created the universe and everything in it in six twenty-four–hour periods.’
This is big news in evangelical circles. If such a leading light can have a change of heart on this issue, hopefully more prominent leaders will make a stand on the truth of Scripture and not be so intimidated by secular science. See Dr Tas Walker’s article on RC Sproul’s change of heart here.
A personal experience of anti-Christian
intolerance in the USA
An elementary school teacher tells of his barring by the education department because he dared mention intelligent design in the classroom. The teacher, Roger Paull, aired his concerns about the department’s video series aimed at the little ones called Science of the Soul. He says the videos were:
‘ … a mix of science and anti-religious propaganda; the kids sat there like little sponges soaking it up. To summarize, it portrayed early religious people—specifically Christians and Jews as it used biblical terminology—as primitive and superstitious.’

An amazing paradigm change
Although less well-known than R C Sproul, we were warmed to receive the testimony of one lady’s dramatic conversion from evolutionism to creation. It was a profound change because she said:
‘I had no idea there was a theory that challenged evolution—I thought Darwin’s evolutionary theory was so established it was equal to, say, Einstein’s theory of relativity, or Newton’s theory of gravity.’
Once again this highlights that evolution is so prominent because people have simply never been exposed to the arguments for creation. Read Terry Novich’s Amazing paradigm change.
A new milestone for the Darwin Film Project
Last week, fundraising for our video documentary that retraces Charles Darwin’s world-changing voyage cracked the US $400,000 mark (out of a total of $537,000 to be raised). This project has captured the imagination of many, and we are encouraged by the number of prominent Christians and ministries who are keen to promote the finished project. However, there is a lot yet to be done and we have already spent well in excess of what has been raised. So thank you for your support thus far. Satellite man flies into US
Fresh from ministry events in Singapore and Italy, Australian creation scientist Dr Mark Harwood is now in the US and will be speaking at locations in GA, NC, SC and Seattle, WA.
During this tour Mark will be focusing on the evidence for design in creation. The design topic is very controversial in this country and lots of misinformation abounds. These events provide a great opportunity to hear first-hand from a real scientist who knows a thing or two about design (Dr Harwood was a former satellite specialist with an international communications group).
